Atonement

Atonement is a drama movie which was directed by Joe Wright, the same director of the movie Pride and Prejudice. This movie is base in the Ian McEwan novel.
It was made in 2007 in the United Kingdom. The leading actors are Keira Knightley (Cecilia) and James McAvoy (Robbie)

The movie is set in the summer of the year 1935 in England at the beginning of World War II. Briony Tallis (13) is Cecilia's sister and she is interested in Robbie. But Robbie, who is the son of the housekeeper, and Cecilia are in love. They both seduce each other and Briony see all that and she misunderstands everything. After all that, she accuses Robbie for violate her cousin. This accusation will changes the life of Robbie and her sister. In fact, this accusation is the start of the entire story.

Atonement is a great movie because it shows how the imagination of a little girl can change the life of everybody, and it is not a typical love story. That's why I recommend it.
